What is an NFT?

A Non-Fungible Token (NFT) is a digital asset stored on a blockchain, representing ownership of a unique digital item like a photo, video, or audio file. Unlike cryptocurrencies, which are identical and can be traded for each other, each NFT is one-of-a-kind and cannot be swapped directly with another NFT.

What is MATIC?

MATIC is the native cryptocurrency of the Polygon blockchain. It follows Ethereum’s ERC-20 standard, and is used to pay transaction fees on the Polygon network.

What is a Crypto wallet? Why do I need it for Ronin?

A crypto wallet is a digital tool designed to hold your cryptocurrency, often including your NFTs and other digital assets. Through our partnership with Chainstarters, you can acquire Ronin artworks using either Matic or a credit card. If you don't already have a wallet, we can help create one for you. Your assets and currency are transferable from your Chainstarters account at your convenience.

Which Crypto wallets are compatible with Ronin?

Ronin, currently, supports the MetaMask wallet. MetaMask is popular for its ease of use and browser extension, which allows seamless integration with various websites and applications.

Can I buy or bid on art pieces on Ronin without crypto?

Yes, you can purchase Ronin artworks using a credit card.

 

Selling Your Item

How do I sell my artworks on Ronin?

Email us at hello@ronin.art with your submission. Our team will review it and contact you for further details.

What types of artworks are accepted?

Ronin accepts all kinds of artworks as long as they are unique, authentic, and one-of-a-kind. The submissions are subject to assessment by the Ronin team. We welcome artists from around the world.

Is there a minimum value requirement for featuring artworks?

No, there is no minimum value requirement for artworks to be featured on Ronin.

Do I have to pay to sell my artwork?

No, artists and collectors do not have to pay to list their artwork on Ronin. All assets are assessed by the Ronin team before being featured. After the sale of your item, Ronin will deduct a percentage which will be discussed with the Ronin team before listing.

Who pays for minting the artwork?

Ronin covers the minting fees for the listed artwork.

 

Buying an NFT

How do I purchase an NFT on Ronin?

To purchase an NFT, bid on and win an auction on our website. Click the "Place Bid" button on the artwork page and sign in to your MetaMask account to place a bid. For alternative payment methods, contact us at hello@ronin.art directly.

Is there a minimum bid requirement?

Yes, the starting bid and bid increments are determined by our team based on the assessed value of the item. The minimum bid will be displayed on the bidding screen.

What are the benefits of buying on Ronin?

Ronin offers exclusive art pieces from artists around the world. When you buy an NFT, you also have the option to redeem its physical counterpart. Ronin's platform ensures low transaction fees compared to traditional auction houses, and NFTs allow for instant global purchasing.

Are there any hidden charges?

No, there are no hidden charges. If you use cryptocurrency for payment, each blockchain transaction includes a gas fee. This fee will be shown to you before you complete the transaction. One advantage of Polygon blockchain is its lower gas fees compared to the Ethereum network.

 

After-sales

How will I know if the purchase was transferred to me?

You can check your transaction using Etherscan. Search your wallet address to see your token balance or enter the transaction hash to view your transaction history.

Can I sell my NFT outside your system?

Yes, you can sell your NFT on any marketplace that supports the same standard as Ronin using your MetaMask wallet.

How can I receive the physical asset?

Once you have been entitled to an NFT on Ronin, you have the choice to redeem its physical counterpart. To claim your physical asset, contact us at hello@ronin.art directly.

Can I cancel my purchase after winning an auction?

You cannot cancel a purchase after the auction has ended. However, you can sell your NFT on other compatible marketplaces.
